much higher water level 6-1-2007

here we are 2 months later, 2 months of hot dry weather and the pond is starting to look like a big puddle...its was about 8 feet deep in June now probably about 5 feet. Boy the weather has been brutal.

well was at the pond on the 12th and 13th and no rain for three weeks and plenty of heat has dried down about 3 feet of depth. Pretty ugly weather too with no rain in site and upper 90's for daytime highs...may not even be a pond when I next visit.

hot weather

here we are at the start of july,2006. I hate hot weather and sunny days. Give me a temp range of say 43 to 68 and cloudy to partly cloudy and i will be happy. Unfortunately that type of weather wont be had around here for about 3 months.
still working on getting the pond cleaned up and to that end have purchased a devise that blows air into the bottom of the pond. Now need to figure out how best to run it etc. difficult when you are away as much as we are you know electric costs, keeping dry and cool etc. electric is about 350 feet from pond and air line would need to be that much and then some. hope i get this done before too long.

Demand and supply

As the world grows certain commodities will be in ever greater demand and a limited or fixed supply. We either need to own these things or we need to find other things that can replace them. I am keeping oil, gas,copper,food and land as my basic investments. Have not figgured out gold so not buying any.
